Recently, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology released the 2025 List of Wuhan Typical AI Application Scenario Projects. The project titled Intelligent Inline Dimensional Precision Measurement and Quality Control for Large Complex New Energy Vehicle Components submitted by Wuhan Vision3D Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully selected as one of the 23 city-wide AI application scenarios with exemplary value.

Official Recognition of Strength via Project Selection

 The solicitation campaign for Wuhan’s typical AI application scenarios aims to discover a batch of representative AI technology use cases, and boost the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the real economy through demonstration effects. After rigorous rounds of project collection, qualification review and expert evaluation, 23 exemplary demonstration scenarios and 80 outstanding application scenarios were finalized.

Vision3D’s project Intelligent Inline Dimensional Precision Measurement and Quality Control for Large Complex New Energy Vehicle Components stood out for its innovative technical route and remarkable application value, ranking among the city’s 23 benchmark AI demonstration scenarios.

Targeting the precision control challenges prevailing in the manufacturing of large complex new energy auto parts, this project integrates artificial intelligence, 3D metrology and automation technologies to realize intelligent inline dimensional inspection and quality control of workpieces on production lines.

In aerospace, Vision3D optical 3D metrology systems deliver superior precision. The equipment conducts full-scale high-accuracy scanning of engine blades to precisely capture critical features including leading/trailing edge radii and airfoil twist; it also accurately inspects hole diameters, hole position tolerances and surface conditions of landing gear components.
